The Small Business Administration (SBA) has established the 8(a) Business Development Program to help small, disadvantage businesses compete in the marketplace by providing a business assistance program allowing for program participants to compete for work set-aside for 8(a) businesses and receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing.
