John Tuba is the CEO and founder of Tuba Group. He is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, business development, and successful delivery of client services, including oversight of project management, quality assurance, and final issuance of all deliverables and reports. With a desire to deliver customer focused technical solutions centered around an employee friendly work environment, John founded Tuba Group in 2002.
John has over 19 years of experience in public accounting, providing Federal Government audit, advisory, and accounting services. During his 19 year career, John has briefed senior corporate and government officials on financial matters. Prior to founding Tuba Group, John was employed with a “Big Four” accounting firm financial audits. John is a certified public accountant. He holds Masters of Business Administration degrees from Georgetown University’s McDonough School, Washington DC and ESADE Business School, Barcelona Spain. John also holds a Bachelors of Science in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. McCranie is responsible for spearheading Tuba Group’s efforts in marketing and business development, and manages Tuba Group’s pipeline and organizational partnerships. Mr. McCranie has over 20 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience, and has a varied background working with the Federal Government as a consultant, in particular, supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at . Redstone Arsenal. Mr. McCranie is a Veteran of the United States Army and a proud graduate of the University of Alabama, Huntsville, Alabama.
Mr. Mick Tabron is the senior manager of Tuba Group’s IT Enterprise Support services to government clients and agencies. He has 18 years of combined experience providing managerial and technical support in the federal and commercial space with an emphasis on managing cross-functional and technical teams, controlling budgets and financial reports and cultivating vendor and client relationships. Mr. Tabron is highly experienced in developing implementation and management plans, resource identification, defining Scope of Work’s, scheduling, planning (WBS) and overseeing medium to large projects, inclusive of providing support services for multi-site roll-out task orders.
Shirley has over fifteen years of experience in the human resources profession that spans across all facets of human resources management; this includes the areas of strategy development, establishing and implementing human resources policies and practices, and talent management at several national companies. She believes a good human resources department is critical to the success of the organization. In her most recent position, Shirley was the human resources manager for a regional CPA firm supporting the Federal government in Washington DC.
Mr. Hervey Tuba guides Tuba Group’s Corporate Support functions, managing administrative and technical support functions. Mr. Hervey Tuba has over 13 years of varied experience supporting federal contractors as well as working directly with Federal agencies providing information system, information technology, administrative, and managerial support, and is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, Blacksburg Virginia.
